In a heartfelt moment during the launch of the Acherensua Home Coming, Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong, a proud alumnus and a sitting Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana, delivered a powerful message of unity, gratitude, and responsibility.
As one of Acherensua Senior High School’s most distinguished old students, Justice Adjei-Frimpong used the occasion to both celebrate and reflect — applauding the government’s ongoing commitment to education and urging all stakeholders to play their part in building the future of the school that shaped him.
Commending the Education Minister
Justice Adjei-Frimpong warmly commended Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister for Education, for honoring the invitation and participating in the Home Coming Launch. He acknowledged the Minister’s efforts toward improving Ghana’s educational landscape, stating:
“It is reassuring to see leadership show up not just in words, but in presence. Hon. Haruna Iddrisu’s visit is a reminder that education remains a national priority. We, as alumni and beneficiaries of this great school, are ready to work hand-in-hand with the Ministry to advance the goals of education in Ghana.”

“This school gave us a foundation that helped shape our futures. It is now our turn to give back — not as an act of charity, but as a duty of honor. Acherensua SHS needs our collective support in infrastructure, mentorship, academic tools, and capacity-building.”
He emphasized that schools like Acherensua remain crucial to producing future leaders and professionals for Ghana, and investing in them is investing in the nation’s future.
